Baltic Photonics Hosted the Leadership of Ropaži Municipality

Baltic Photonics hosted representatives of Ropaži Municipality, presenting the company’s operations, the development of night vision technologies and the planned expansion of manufacturing infrastructure in Berģi.

The visit was attended by Aivars Draudiņš, Chairperson of the Ropaži Municipality Council, Jānis Belkovskis, Executive Director of Ropaži Municipality, and Lauris Lielbārdis, Business Development Consultant of Ropaži Municipality.

The meeting included discussions on the development of the new Baltic Photonics manufacturing facility in Berģi, as well as the project's significance for the advancement of high-technology and defence industry capabilities in Latvia.

Municipality representatives were introduced to the company’s laboratory, technological competencies and the development of full-cycle night vision system manufacturing in Latvia.

The parties also discussed matters related to the implementation of the project and cooperation between the company and the municipality in support of the project’s continued development.

Baltic Photonics continues to expand its manufacturing, research and innovation capabilities in Latvia, contributing to the growth of the defence technology sector and strengthening international competitiveness.
