Baltic Photonics participated in Industry Day of the National Armed Forces 2026

Baltic Photonics participated in the Industry Day of the National Armed Forces 2026, one of Latvia’s key defence and security industry cooperation formats, bringing together representatives of the National Armed Forces, industry, public institutions, the research community, and international partners.

The Industry Day of the National Armed Forces serves as a working environment for dialogue between military requirements and industrial technological capabilities, emphasising the role of innovation, production capacity, and operational solutions in today’s security environment. This format supports closer interaction between the armed forces and industry, ensuring practical feedback on the application of technologies and future development directions.

Within the forum framework, a range of industrial solutions and projects were presented, including manufacturing initiatives implemented in international cooperation and dual-use technologies. Particular attention was given to the role of local industry and its ability to develop competitive solutions that meet both national and allied requirements.

The programme also highlighted industry innovation and excellence initiatives, including defence and security industry award frameworks that support the development of new technologies, research outcomes, and international cooperation.

The Industry Day of the National Armed Forces reaffirmed the importance of the defence industry within the national security system, while underlining the role of long-term cooperation, technological development, and industrial resilience in the context of regional and collective security.
