Baltic Photonics Strengthens Baltic Industrial Cooperation During Estonian Business Delegation Visit to Riga

On May 26, 2025, Baltic Photonics took part in a key Latvian–Estonian business cooperation event — the visit of the Estonian business delegation to Riga, hosted at the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia.

The event was organized by the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LTRK) in collaboration with Estonian partners, bringing together regional business leaders and innovation stakeholders from the technology, manufacturing, and security sectors.

The event was attended by Estonia’s Minister of Economic Affairs and Information Technology Erkki Keldo and Latvia’s Minister of Economics Viktors Valainis, reaffirming high-level political support for cross-border cooperation in strategically important sectors.

The areas represented by Baltic Photonics aligned with several key fields within the Estonian delegation — including smart manufacturing, dual-use technologies, and advanced materials. These types of meetings promote mutual understanding of innovation priorities and highlight potential for future collaboration, including joint development and export initiatives.

The visit also included the official opening of the Estonian Business Center in Riga, symbolizing both countries’ ambition to deepen their economic presence in each other’s markets and foster synergy in high-tech and industrial solution sectors.

Baltic business cooperation is entering a new phase — moving toward a more structured and complementary regional innovation environment, where the interplay between industry and technology becomes a foundation for global competitiveness.
